Marsha attended Brigham Young University and received a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1974. She has worked primarily in medical/surgical nursing areas and especially enjoys cardiac care. She assisted in developing the first Cardiac Care Unit for St. Luke's Hospital in Spokane and acted as Relief Charge Nurse for two years. Marsha started and owned "Today's Nursing" a private duty nursing service in Tri-Cities which employed approximately 100 nurses providing offices, hospitals and in home nursing care.
Marsha has taught at BBCC Nursing Program since 1983 and keeps her skills current by working a few days a month in local hospitals outside of her teaching hours.
