Prerequisites & Nursing Courses

The following links outline the prerequisites and corequisites required to enter the nursing program, as well as the timeline for all nursing courses.

Course Timeline

During the selection process, points will be awarded for the following:

GPA

N.A.C.: Completed or in progress

Prerequisite and corequisite courses completed or in progress

Scores on Critical Thinking and TEAS tests

Current healthcare work experience

Note: Applicants who have not completed the required college level English and Math courses must take a college required English and Math placement test. They are offered on Most Friday mornings. For more information on the English placement test, call 793-2361. For Math, call 793-2159. There is a $5.00 fee for each test. Please call the Nursing Program Director for questions/clarification.
